Japanese made in 1991, the RG-5000 was a limited edition model sold to the Japanese market only. Featuring a mirrored blue pickguard and blue dot inlays (under an aftermarket vine decal) to match the Laser Blue finish, it's built with a basswood body bolted to a Wizard maple neck with a 24 fret fingerboard and weighs 3.5kg's. This one is loaded with a set of original Ibanez pickups as pictured along with the original Gotoh tuners and Edge locking tremolo system.
Good overall used condition as pictured, given a full professional setup and service prior to listing, frets have plenty of life, smooth and shiny with basic wear. The neck has the very common partial crack near the locking nut screws, the area has been glued and repaired so it's solid with no movement under tension.
