Made in Taiwan for only a few years in the early 90's, the 821DMR was a reasonably high-end shredder made by Yamaha to compete with the Ibanez RG series.
Alder body with a sycamore top and back bolted to a maple neck and a 24 fret maple fingerboard (13.75" radius, 648mm scale length, five scalloped frets), weighs 3.3kg's. Loaded with three Yamaha branded alnico pickups controlled by master volume/tone controls and a 5-way selector, this one appears to be all original as pictured except for a new output jack.
Good used condition for a 30+ year old guitar with some signs of wear and tear but no breaks or repairs. The frets are shiny and still have plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss.
