Made by the Fujigen factory in 1993, the Fender TC72-70 was their reissue of the 1972 Telecaster Custom. Wearing a glossy black finish on a basswood body, one-piece maple neck (7.25" radius, 21 frets) and it weighs a nimble 3.2kg's. Original Fender Japan pickups (a TL-CURRENT single coil in the bridge and a TN-HUMBUCKING wide-range in the neck) and string-through ash-tray bridge, it appears to be all stock except for the output jack socket and knobs.
Restrung and given a basic setup and service prior to listing, this one has a pretty heavy amount of cosmetic wear as pictured including a sanded pickguard and some surface rust on the bridge. The neck is straight and the truss works as it should, the frets are shiny and smooth with some pitting but life left.
