A very rare model from Ibanez made for only a brief time in the mid 1990's, these never appeared in any catalogs and were only sold within Japan. This one appears all original including Ibanez V7/V8 and S1 HSH pickups and weighs 3.4kg's.
Given a basic setup and service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss works perfectly. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and only light pitting. More info below from the very helpful Ibanez Wiki:
The most notable feature of the SI850 is thicker than regular S series body, and input jack located on the side, instead of the front. All models from this subseries sport natural finish or stained ash body, which is also different from regular mahogany or similar woods used in S series. The model has an All Access Neck Joint and the HSH pickup configuration. Other features maple Wizard neck with maple fingerboard and the Lo-Pro Edge tremolo with a locking nut.
