Made in Japan in 1994 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Stratocaster, the ST62-65AS is a celebratory '62 reissue in a very cool faded "lake placid blue" finish that's now got a green tinge. Alder body with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), the neck has the iconic "FotoFlame" laminate finish. Mint green pickguard with Fender Japan ST-Vintage pickups. Weighs 3.5kg's.
Very overall cosmetic condition as pictured with light wear and tear. Given a full professional service prior to listing including a fret polish, truss adjustment, electronics flush and setup. A small amount of the Fotoflame on the back of the neck was clamped and reglued so it's stable and smooth (common on these models), although it looks bad it's actually almost undetectable in the hand. Frets have some light wear but are polished and play well, the neck is straight.
