Made in Japan by Jackson in 1996, this is a very rare Japanese market "Kelly Star" bass model sold only to the Japanese market. Looks to be a poplar body with a Candy Apple Red finish bolted to a rock maple neck, 24 fret bound rosewood fingerboard (34" scale length), it weighs just over 3.4kg's. Loaded with a pair of active Jackson branded pickups controlled by independent volume controls and a master tone along with a killswitch mini toggle.
Good used condition as pictured with a few small cosmetic bumps and dings. The frets have plenty of life, smooth and shiny with some light wear. Given a basic restring and service prior to listing, it's got a replacement back plate and a reglued section of the lower horn.
