Made by the Samick factory in Korea in 1998, these are a significant step above the modern Chinese Epiphone models.

According to Epiphone, John Lee Hooker once described the original Sheraton as an “outdid 335” for its classic double cutaway shape, striking fingerboard inlay and elegant ivory and black binding on the top, back, neck, headstock and f-holes.

This one is no exception, built with a maple body around a hefty centre-block along with a slim 60's maple/walnut neck (43mm nut width, 628mm scale length), it weighs 3.7kg's. This one appears to be all original as pictured.

Very good overall condition for it's age with only basic signs of wear and tear as pictured. Given a basic setup and service prior to listing, it's got plenty of life in the frets and a straight neck with a fully functional truss rod.
