Made in the USA in 1999, the Thunderbird is one of Gibson's most popular designs. Mahogany body with a neckthrough mahogany/walnut construction and an ebony fingerboard, it weighs 4.2kg's. Looks to be all original with Gibson branded tuners and pickups along with a black three-point bridge system.
This one came to us with a pretty hefty amount of grime on the finish. We had it buffed and polished back so it's now nice and smooth with plenty of checking and cracking to the finish. There's also some even separation along the fingerboard as pictured, it's been buffed back so it's smooth to play and is purely cosmetic. The neck is straight, the frets are shiny and the truss works as it should.
