Made in Japan by Jackson in 2000, this is a very rare Japanese market "Kelly Star" model sold only to the Japanese market. Yellow poplar body with a flame-top veneer, rock maple neck-through construction with a 24 fret unbound rosewood fingerboard (648mm scale length), it weighs just over 3.7kg's. Loaded with a pair of passive Duncan Designed humbuckers and the original Grover Jackson branded Floyd Rose tremolo system.
Good used condition as pictured with a few small cosmetic bumps and dings. The frets have plenty of life, smooth and shiny with some light wear. Given a basic restring and service prior to listing, currently tuned and set-up half a step down. Looks like the locking nut components have been replaced otherwise it seems all original.
