Made in the USA in 2001 (sometimes described as the "Golden Age of SG's apparently), this is an SG Standard that was sold to the Japanese market by the famously fussy Yamano Music Company. This one has a replacement Grover machine head along with a Dimarzio Tone Zone humbucker in the bridge position, otherwise it appears all original. This one also features the desirable slim 60's style neck profile instead of the chunkier profile used on more modern SG's.
Good used condition as pictured with light signs of playwear and general use, restrung and recently serviced. There's plenty of nitro checking to the finish to give it a real vintage look and feel and the binding has aged into a nicotine-stained brown. Plenty of life in the frets with a straight neck and fully functional truss, no breaks or repairs to the headstock or neck joint. Weighs 3.4kg's.
