The Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus debuted in 2002 as an option for those looking for higher grade maple tops. This one was made in 2003 and the AAA carved maple cap on this speaks for itself, these were never drilled for a pickguard so there's nothing to obscure the view.
Wearing a nitro Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish with a mahogany body, slim 60's mahogany neck and a 22 fret rosewood fingerboard (628mm scale length, 43mm nut width), it weighs 4.7kg's.
The previous owner loaded it with a set of EMG 81/85's as pictured, original pickups not included. Still loaded with the original Gibson tuners and original bridge/tailpiece.
Very clean overall condition as pictured, used sparingly over its life and seems to have been very well looked after. Restrung and given a setup with 10-46's prior to listing including a fretboard oil and a fret polish, the neck is straight and the truss works perfectly. The frets are smooth with only light wear and the binding nibs are still intact. Includes the original hardcase.
