An iconic Australian guitar from Maton, this is a MS2000 MasterSound model made in Melbourne in 2003. Quandong body with blackwood/rock maple top, Queensland maple neck with rosewood fingerboard (43mm nut width, 628mm scale), it weighs 3.6kg's. Loaded with a pair of Dimarzio Virtual PAF's (a DP196/7 combo) along with an Emerson wiring harness as pictured.
This one's had a life well lived with plenty of signs of wear and tear as pictured. The frets are shiny and smooth with plenty of life left and the neck is straight with a fully functional truss. There are some finish cracks in the paint on the back of the headstock that are purely cosmetic with no structural damage or movement under pressure.
