Made by the Tokai factory in 2007, the ST72-66US was a premium model '72 reissue by Fender Japan. Basswood body wearing a very deep "Old Candy Apple Red" finish bolted to a '72 profile one-piece maple neck, it weighs 3.4kg's. Full CBS vibe with an oversized headstock, bullet truss rod and three-bolt neck plate with a micro tilt adjuster. Factory loaded with Fender USA ST-Vintage pickups with the original Gotoh tuners and Japanese tremolo system
This one received a very recent refret and radius adjustment by the highly regarded Frank Grubisa so it's now loaded with medium-jumbo frets and playing with a 12" radius. Grubisa's work speaks for itself and the frets and fretboard look brand new from the factory.
Very good used condition with only very light signs of wear and tear as pictured, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts well and the frets are brand new as mentioned previously.
