Part of the short-lived "Alternate Reality" Series from Fender in the late 2010's, the Sixty Six blended the Stratocaster with the Jazz Bass to create whatever this thing is! The specimen under examination here is the Alternate Reality Sixty-Six. Classic Fender tone meets cool visuals in the Sixty-Six, which makes a radical statement with its down-sized, offset-waist Jazz Bass body. And a flexible HSS pickup configuration cranks out everything from fat, snarling leads to funky rhythm sounds.

Engineered for iconic Fender tone — with an added edge for today's guitarists — the Player Series humbucking bridge pickup is complemented by a pair of chimey Player Series Tele single-coils in the neck and middle positions. A 5-way selector switch gets you all the tones you need from this unique pickup set. The vintage-style 6-saddle Synchronized Tremolo vibrato bridge/tailpiece provides reliable pitch expression while keeping your tuning solid. The comfortable Modern C profile neck sports a 9.5"-radius maple fingerboard and 22 medium-jumbo frets for fluid playability.
