Made in Japan in the early 1990's, this is a custom order variant of the MG-1101N that was factory loaded with the famous Varitone active electronics system. The 1101N was a premium model from BC Rich's catalog sold primarily to the Japanese market and features a scarf maple neck with a 24 fret rosewood fingerboard bolted to a lovely maple/rosewood/mahogany 5pc body, it weighs just over 4kg's.
This one has a gold BC Rich branded locking tremolo along with the original lovely BC Rich branded machine heads, loaded with the original BC Rich pickups. Seems to be close to all original except for a replacement battery snap.
Received a full professional setup and service prior to listing including a truss adjustment, fretboard oil, fret polish and wiring cleanup. The frets have plenty of life left and the guitar is overall in great used condition for being over 30 years old.
