Custom Shop Texas Special Telecaster pickups are over-wound for blistering hot output, and are made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire for outstanding presence and midrange. Nickel/silver neck pickup cover produces clear, warm Telecaster tone; bridge pickup features height-staggered polepieces and copper-plated steel bottom plate. Ideal for blues, rock, pop and country. The neck and bridge blend well together, with the neck having enhanced bass, and the Bridge leaning towards treble and mids. As Heard on Fender American Special Telecaster guitars.
